Saints End Senior Weekend On A High Note

Saints End Senior Weekend On A High Note

Moore, OK: The Saints won one of four games against Dallas Christian over the weekend.  Evan Kating started game one and pitched well enough to keep them in the game.  However, a lack of offensive production took a toll.  Their only run came off a solo shot from senior Casey Sykes resulting in a 5-1 loss.  The Saints were on the wrong side of a blowout in game two.  The Saints made 6 errors and allowed 20 hits which ultimately put them out of reach.  Dawson Muck and Zach Clarkson both led the team with 2 RBI's.  The final score was 14-6.  Game three was similar to game one as the Saints failed to get their offense going.  Only 4 hits were produced to Dallas' 11.  The final score was 6-0.  Game four was an absolute battle.  Brandon Rabbitt started on the bump for the Saints and threw an absolute gem.  He went a remarkable 10 innings while only allowing 1 run.  He also fanned 10 batters as well.  Jace Elliot was the hero in the end after walking it off in the tenth with William Young in scoring position.  The final score was 2-1.  This game was a perfect ending to Casey Sykes and Alec Baugh's "Senior Weekend."
