Saints Shine In Regionals

Oklahoma City, OK -  Randall came into this tourney as the 5th seed and made it to the Touanament Sem-Final in the Central Region Tournament.

Game 1

Evan Kating started on the mound for the Saints in Game One. They were up against the 4th seeded Arlington Patriots. This game was a battle all the way until the end. The Saints ended up losing by one run.

Game 2

Elimination Game

Louis Cottone started on the mound for the Saints in Game Two. Josh Bible came in to relieve Cottone a few innings later. This game was a battle all the way to the seventh inning, leading to an extra inning ballgame. In the eighth inning, the Saints loaded the bases after Kobe Bowie came up with a clutch bunt. Brad Hoskins ended the game victoriously for the Saints after lining a ball off the pitcher, which scored the two winning runs. 

Game 3

Elimination Game

The Saints faced the Ecclesia Lions in another must win game. Coming into the game, The Saints were 0-7 against the Lions. Jace Elliott started on the mound. The Saints jumped out to a quick 6 run lead after a three run home run from Brad Hoskins. Braxton Davis relieved Elliott after 2 solid innings. The Lions retaliated with a homer of their own, and a four run inning. This was the only offense the Lions would get going for the remainder of the game. Later, Casey Sykes added a solo shot, and after a solid offensive showing, the Saints defeated the Lions with a final score of 9-4. 

Game 4

Sem-Final

The Saints went into this game facing a very tough team in Southwestern Christian Eagles. After using an onslaught of pitchers, the Saints gave up 15 runs. Not much offense came from the Saints after Jace Elliott and Cauy Hollis went 2 for 3. The Saints ended up falling to the Eagles 15-1. 

NCCAA World Series

After the strong showing from the Saints in games two and three, combined with the tough schedule throughout the year, The Saints received a bid to the National Tournament in Easley, South Carolina. This will be the first showing for the Saints in the National Tournament after being moved up to Division 1. The last time the team reached Nationals was in 2010 when they played in Division 2. The Saints first game is on Wednesday, May 22nd at 3:00pm central. The Saints will also play Thursday, May 23rd at 12:00pm and 3:00pm central and one game on Friday, May 24th at 12:00pm central.
