RU Baseball takes their turn on the Worldwide Leader

It may be only one game but for Randall University baseball, it was an opportunity.  RU's baseball team traveled to Tarleton St in Stephenville, TX to play an early season game against the Texans.  The thing that set this game apart was the fact that it was carried on ESPN+.

The result isn't what the Randall boys hoped for but if you look past that, it was a great chance for them to represent the University and the boys did not disappoint.  Brayden McMurtrey went 2 for 2 and scored the lone run for Randall as they lost to the NCAA D-1 Texans 17-1.

Coach Bennett says despite the result, good things happened. "Didn't go the way we wanted. Had a couple rough innings vs a very good hitting Tarleton State team. Despite the score we competed, and got better tonight. That's all we can ask for!"

The Saints will continue their season coming up with a bunch of home games over spring break
