Ryan Sinks Three In Final Seconds

After a tough stretch against five bigger schools, including DI Sam Houston State, the Saints got back on track with a 93-92 victory over the Drovers (USAO) on Saturday at Randall University.

Four Saints players scored in double digits as the Saints (4-8) shot 50.8 percent from the field in the big victory.

"Big win for our program and even bigger win for our university," Saints head coach Mark Berokoff said.

Brent Clark led the way with 25 points (8-16), while John Bailey followed right behind with 22 points (7-12). Jordan Marshall (13 points), Quinn Ryan (12 points) and Isaiah Tillman (8 points) also contributed with scoring to help their team win.

Daekwon Cubit had a game high 14 rebounds of the teams 28 total. Next in line was Jordan Marshall with 7.

The game was ultimately decided when Quinn Ryan came up clutch with a 3-pointer in the corner with four seconds left. Brent Clark was able to dish it off to a wide open Ryan to sink the shot and take a one point lead. The Saints were able to hold off the Drovers in the final seconds with good defensive to secure the win.
