Jared Spencer Earns Tournament's Most Outstanding Player Award

After winning the NCCAA DII National Championship, goalkeeper Jared Spencer was named the tournament's most outstanding player. Spencer went on a tear in all three of the Saints tournament games. He finished the tournament with 13 total saves on 15 shots on goal. He also held Johnson University Tennessee and Pensacola Christian scoreless.

Rhys Farrow, Renan Lara, and Fraser Wittmann joined Spencer on the NCCAA All-Tournament Team. All three scored vital goals to help the Saints win the tournament.

Quote from Jared Spencer: "This team is full of talented guys who all should be considered on the all-tournament team; it is a great honor for me to be named All-Tournament most outstanding player. I couldn't have asked for a better way to end my athletic career than a national championship plus this award. Going into the national tournament, my only goal was to come home with a championship. I couldn't have gotten here without my teammates and coaches; although it took four years to achieve, everything was worth the wait."
