Randall Women's Basketball Defeats Manhattan 73-49

MOORE, Ok. - Randall Women's Basketball entered Tuesday without a loss on their record in 2017, and continued that winning streak with a 73-49 win over Manhattan Christian, notching their 4th straight victory to start the second half of the season. The Saints were lead in scoring by Gabbie Parsons, who poured in 19 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Julia Garrard was too much for the Thunder to handle inside. Garrard dominated the glass with 17 rebounds, while adding 12 points on 6-8 shooting, and blocking 5 shots. 

1st Quarter - A balanced attack from the Saints allowed them to jump out to a big 26-11 lead. Six players scored for Randall in the first quarter, and they shot a collective 57.1%. 

2nd Quarter - The second quarter was dominated by Morgan Fletcher, who scored 8 of the Saints 16 points in the quarter. Tiffani Burns contributed 2 assists in 5 minutes as the Saints added one point to their lead. 

3rd Quarter - Manhattan won the third quarter 21-20, but a strong performance by Parsons, who scored 11 of her game high 19 in the third, allowed the Saints to carry a 15 point lead going into the fourth. 

4th Quarter - Randall closed the game with a dominant defensive performance, as they only conceded 2 points to the Thunder in the fourth quarter. Garrard grabbed 5 boards and had 2 blocks in the quarter to help with the defensive dominance. Burns lead the Saints in scoring in the quarter with 4 while also grabbing 3 rebounds. 

The Saints next head to Broken Arrow, OK to play 3 games in the Rhema Classic beginning on January 12.
