Manhattan, KS - Thursday at 7:00 PM, the Saints played against Barclay College in the first round of the regional tournament.

The Saints started off slow in the first quarter, but then suddenly caught fire at the beginning of the second and until the end. The Saint capped off the win with a score of 70-58.

Two Saints players dominated with double-doubles. Jai'Lynn Anderson finished with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Mikayla Emarthle was extremely productive off the bench with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Sarah King stuffed the stat sheet with seven points, two steals, four assists, and five rebounds. Madi Chalfant also provided some production with eight points and four rebounds. Amber Bustos came in big off the bench with nine points on 3-of-6 from three-point land. Denazia Jeffers also helped the Saints off the bench with nine points, three rebounds, and two assists.

Starters Chae Morbley and Aloni Taylor also had combined for eight points and four rebounds.

As a team, the Saints bench outscored the Bears bench by 26 points. They also had 18 more assists than the Bears.
The Saints play again today at 1:00 PM against Arlington Baptist.
