7 women's basketball use defense to route Southwestern Adventist in southwest region opener. The Lady Saints forced 27 turnover and geld the visiting Lady Knights to 15% from the field in the 42-20 home win.
It was a low scoring first half with leading 7-6 after the first quarter and 14-7 at the intermission. The offense clicked better in the second half scoring 28 points. Somphmore Saylee Smith lead all scorers with 10 points, Adrianne Wilson added 9.
The Saints return to action thursday night in Kansas City as they take on Calvary University at 5:00pm.
