Randall Hires Jake Cottage as Women's Soccer Head Coach

Jake Cottage was named the second head coach in the Randall women's soccer program's history on May 1, 2018. Cottage has spent several seasons as a collegiate assistant coach while also coaching club soccer at the Oklahoma Energy soccer club and is also the head boy's coach at Bishop McGuinness High School.

Athletic Director Mark Berokoff says the athletic department is "extremely excited to get a coach of this quality.  Coach Cottage has proven himself at the college level and at the high school level."

Coach Cottage is originally from Raunds, England. He came to America in the fall of 2007 on a soccer scholarship at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. Cottage played his first 3 seasons at the University of Science and Arts, then transferred to Southwestern Christian University his senior year. Cottage was a standout student athlete throughout his collegiate career winning several team and individual awards. Some of his highlights include an NAIA Sooner Athletic Tournament Championship and National Tournament appearances, as well as being named to NAIA 1st Team All-Region and NCCAA All-American teams. "I want to thank Coach Berokoff and Randall University for the opportunity to be the new head women's coach," said Coach Cottage, "Randall University has a quality athletic department and I can't wait to continue the growth of this great program on and off the field." 

Coach Cottage graduated in May 2012 with a Bachelors in Sports Management.  Coach Cottage also has a Masters in Sports Administration from East Central University.  He holds a USSF C coaching license. Jake and his wife, Stephanie, live in Yukon, Oklahoma.
