This is George Milsap first season at Randall University. George Milsap is originally from
Quincy, Illinois and a graduate from Quincy Senior High School. After high school George was
awarded a Division 1 basketball scholarship to Western Illinois University. George was a high
school and college basketball standout. While playing at Quincy Senior High School George
achieved such honors as All-Conference Team selections, Team MVP, All-State 2 nd Team
Honorable Mention and several 1 st Team All-Tournament Team selections.
While at Western Illinois University George was able to lead the conference in field goal
percentage, became Player of The Week, Player of The Month, 1 st Team All-Conference, 1 st
Team all-tournament and Team MVP.
George graduated from Western Illinois in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts & Minor in Physical
Education. After graduating George was picked up by an ABA professional team, the Delaware
Blue Bombers to develop into a two-way player for them. George’s professional career came to
an abrupt end when he suffered a severe knee injury.
George later changed career paths and became the Assistant Coach at Division III MacMurray
College in Jacksonville, Illinois. While coaching at MacMurray College George helped the team
to a 21 – 11 record and the Junior Team to a 7-1 record. George also coached over 10 years with
Indiana Faith, 2 years as an Assistant Varsity Coach and JV Head Coach at Covenant Christian
High School, 2 years Head Coach at Horizon Christian High School and Head Men’s Basketball
Coach from 2023 – 2025 at Barclay College. In 2023 – 2024 season George was able to lead the
team to it first ever Regional Championship game.
George commitment to Christ was found at Lakeview Church through life groups and strong
Christian men that held him accountable. George’s other support is his wife Jennifer and three
kids Camron 22, Auriana 15 and Ian who is 9. George has dedicated his life to telling his story,
helping other who were sexually assaulted, homeless, diagnosed with cancer, mental illness and
other traumas.
