Saints Move On To Next Round

Manhattan, KS - Yesterday at 3:00 PM, the Saints played their first game of the regional tournament against Kansas Christian College.

The Saints dominated in the first half, winning by 18 points. However, the second half was a nail biter. The Falcons slowly crept back and put up strong numbers. The saints were able to prevail and maintain a small lead. The game ended with the Saints winning 77-73.

Jordan Marshall led the team with 20 points (9-of-11) and 13 rebounds. John Bailey was next in line with 18 (5-of-9) points and three rebounds. Zach LerBlance also provided scoring with 15 points (7-of-18), nine rebounds, and three assists. Anthony Pena provided 11 points on 4-of-5 shooting.

Off the bench, Kyle Mallone scored two points and grabbed six rebounds. Quinn Ryan and Arin Taylor combined for nine points as well.

The Saints shot a reliable 50% from the field. However, they only shot 55.6% from the line and 25% from 3-point land. The Saints outrebounded the Falcons 49 to 26. They also scored 20 more points in the paints.

The Saints will play this Friday again at 3:00 PM against Champion Christian College. Last time they met, Champion squeaked out a win by just five points.
