Women's Soccer Claims Region Title With 3-1 Win at Manhattan

MANHATTAN, Ks. - Randall University Women's Soccer faced Manhattan Christian on Tuesday, October 17 to determine the winner of the NCCAA DII Southwest Region, and the automatic bid to the National Tournament. Randall jumped all over Manhattan early with a goal from Freshman Zoe Rose (Tulsa, OK/Metro Christian Academy) in the 7th minute.

Rose's third goal of the season was followed 7 minutes later by the first of two goals in the game for Freshman Madison Cauthen (Yukon, OK/Yukon HS). Manhattan cut the lead to 1 early in the 2nd half, but Cauthen gave the Saints the insurance goal they needed in the 60th minute, also her 3rd goal of the season.

Freshman Keeper Madi Harris (Moore, OK/Westmoore HS) saved 4 of the 5 shots on goal she faced, with the assistance of a good defensive effort.

The Saints final regular season game will be at home this Saturday, October 21, at 2:00pm against Grace University (Nebraska).

Randall will head to Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC from November 15-18 for the National Tournament. Information such as seeding and game times will be posted on the Championship Page.
