
The Lady Saints defeated Dallas Christian in 4 sets saturday afternoon thanks to the efforts of senior middle blocker Lauren Cheatwood and outside hitter Kearra Zachary.
Randall dominated the fiirst set, hitting .360 with 14 kills. DCC struggled out of the gates to the tune of -.235 hitting percentage. The second set was more of the same with the Saints taking it 25-19, hitting right at .300. Dallas flipped the script in the 3rd set hitting .365, taking advantage of some sloppy ball control from the Saints, winning the third set 25-22. Randall rebounded in the fourth set to win 25-14, despite hitting sub .200 (.167), thanks to 11 errors from the Crusaders.
Cheatwood hit .800 with 9 kills. Reigning National Player of the Week, Kearra Zachary, turned in another solid proformance hitting .273 with 10 kills and 5 service aces. Setter Kylie Thompson chipped in a solid performance with 33 assists, 5 digs and 2 service aces.
The Lady Saints return to action tuesday against Barclay College in Haviland, KS.
